Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport is an airport operated by PT Angkasa Pura I which serves domestic and international flights to the Makassar area and its surroundings. The airport is located 30 km from the center of Makassar City, South Sulawesi.
In early to mid-June 2020, indications of increased passenger traffic have been seen compared to May 2020. In the early June 2020 period, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport served the highest passenger traffic, namely 53,940 people with 996 aircraft movements.
